GUEST LECTURER  Chris Leong, Leong Leong

An architecture firm and design consultancy, Leong Leong uses the power of design to advance visionary social agendas. Founded by brothers Chris and Dominic, the firm believes that the practice of architecture gains relevance through a constant dialogue with other disciplines, cultures, thinkers, and makers. Recent work includes the Anita May Rosenstein Campus, an intergenerational housing and social services facility for the LGBTQ community in Los Angeles, and Ray, a residential and artist studio development in Philadelphia.

Chris received his B.A. from UC Berkeley where he was awarded the C.E.D. Alumni Award, and his M. Arch from Princeton University where he was awarded the Princeton Graduate Fellowship.

IN MEMORIAL Mark Outman, FAIA

This series was created in memory of Mark Outman, FAIA, a proud Denver native who knew early on that architecture was his calling. Mark lent his design sense to remarkable civic projects including airport terminals, stadiums, city halls and museums and was widely recognized throughout his successful career. In 2017, he was honored by the AIA’s College of Fellows for his contributions to the field of architecture. Mark is remembered for his intelligent presence and his dry, subtle sense of humor.
